In this key role, you’ll be an Auto Glass Technician in the Field. You will be responsible for all customer service interactions, installs, chip repairs, and removals at each of our account’s locations, customers’ homes, or places of work.

Working outdoors also means you will need to be prepared to work in many different types of weather conditions throughout the year. You will be the face and name of Native Auto Glass. Your primary focus will be to provide excellent service while completing the highest quality glass installations and chip repairs.

You will be provided position-based training, a company-branded uniform package, and a company vehicle. Each day, you will receive a list of jobs that have been routed to you for completion. Each job has a timeline that you are responsible for managing and completing with service and quality in mind at all times.

We are a supportive team, if you complete your jobs early, you should always check in with your peers out in the field to see if they need your support. The same is expected of them. We are here for each other and through that we can continue to build on a business we are all proud to be a part of.

As an Auto Glass Technician-Field, you’ll enjoy competitive pay, medical/dental benefits, and a company discount. You’ll work a full-time schedule and rotating Saturdays. Your start and end times for the workday will vary.

  • Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely for use of: removal of moldings, wipers, mirrors, and windshields, minimizing vehicle damage that could occur. Installs glass following industry specifications
  • Reviews daily auto glass itinerary and orders; ensures replacement glass has arrived in good condition from the supplier; properly loads and transports glass to the installation site
  • Maintains the highest quality and customer service satisfaction. Answers customers’ questions by educating and informing them about the installation process. Able to effectively troubleshoot customer concerns while never compromising the company’s core values: Service and Quality
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, including company-issued vehicle
  • Communicate regularly with the owner regarding any changes in the work status or completion status of vehicles
  • Achieves daily productivity goals set by the owner
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Manages time effectively, dependable and trustworthy
  • Comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, reaching, walking, and standing for long periods
  • 1 or more years of Auto Glass Installation/Removal Experience

Auto Glass Technician Trainee

Hourly Pay Range: $18-$22/hr

Native Auto Glass is now hiring an Auto Glass Technician Trainee. We will provide you with a mentor who will teach you the skill sets to be responsible for all customer service interactions, windshield installs, chip repairs, and windshield removals at account locations, customers’ homes, or their places of work.

Working outdoors also means you will need to be prepared to work in many different types of weather conditions throughout the year. Your primary focus will be to effectively learn how to provide excellent service while completing the highest quality glass installations & chip repairs.

You’ll work a full-time schedule and rotating Saturdays. Your start and end times for the workday will vary. Successful performance throughout your training period can result in an opportunity to become an Auto Glass Technician for Native Auto Glass.

  • Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely for use in the: removal of moldings, wipers, mirrors windshields, and other glass parts, minimizing vehicle damage that could occur.
  • Listens actively and pays attention to detail, resulting in the ability to learn how to:
  • Install Autoglass while following industry specifications.
  • Review daily auto glass itinerary and orders; ensure replacement glass has arrived in good condition from the supplier;
  • Properly load and transport glass to the installation site
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building skills too properly:
  • Maintain the highest quality and customer service satisfaction
  • Answer customers’ questions by educating and informing them about the installation process
  • Effectively troubleshoot customer concerns while never compromising the company’s core values: Service and Quality
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicate with Mentor regularly regarding learning progress and additional tools/resources needed during training
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Manages time effectively, dependable and trustworthy
  • Comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, reaching, walking, and standing for long periods
  • Although not required, mechanical aptitude and automotive repair experience are a plus.

Customer Service Representative- Core Roles

Customer Service Skills:
Develop customer relationships by making an effort to listen to and understand the customer, showing
empathy when a customer is dissatisfied and resolving all concerns through partnership with Management.
Anticipates and provides solutions to customer needs and gives high priority to customer satisfaction. Urgently
returns calls/texts to customers showing their glass concerns are our priority. Opens and closes office location
and is available to greet all customers during regular business hours (8:00am to 4:00pm MDT, with the
exception of a 30 minute duty-free Meal Period per the State of Colorado Department of Labor Guidelines).
Promotes to every customer they are receiving the service they deserve and quality they can trust.

Business and Team:
Develops relationships with co-workers to contribute to group solutions. Maintains a clean and organized
business environment for customers and co-workers. Continuously puts forth effort to helping make
Native Auto Glass LLC a better place to work for everyone. Assist technicians/vendors as needed.

Quality of Work:
Produces value, thoroughness, accuracy, neatness, and acceptability of all work completed. Works under
pressure, is open to being accountable and learns from previous mistakes. Accurately checks processes and
tasks, handling issues in a timely and respectful manner.

Quantity of Work:
Works with urgency even when under pressure, producing accurate outcomes. Maintains the workload that supports 5 full-time Auto Glass Technicians per industry benchmarks without sacrificing service or quality. Communicates effectively with team and/or management to ensure all outstanding action items that directly impact customers are completed by end of business day.

Works independently and with integrity. Thinks logically and practically before making decisions. Uses independent thought, originality, and reasoning.
