Auto Glass Technician- Field

Hourly Pay Range: $20-36.50/hr

In this key role, you’ll be an Auto Glass Technician in the Field. You will be responsible for all customer service interactions, installs, chip repairs, and removals at each of our account’s locations, customers’ homes or place of work.

Working outdoors also means you will need to be prepared to work in many different types of weather conditions throughout the year. You will be the face and name of Native Auto Glass. Your primary focus will be to provide excellent service while completing the highest quality glass installations and chip repairs.

You will be provided position based training, a company branded uniform package, and a company vehicle. Each day you will receive a list of jobs that have been routed to you for completion.   Each job has a timeline in which you are responsible to manage and complete with service and quality in mind at all times.

We are a supportive team, if you complete your jobs early, you should always check in with your peers out in the field to see if they need your support. The same is expected of them. We are here for each other and through that we can continue to build on a business we are all proud to be a part of.

As an Auto Glass Technician- Field, you’ll enjoy competitive pay, medical/dental benefits, and a company discount. You’ll work a full-time schedule and rotating Saturdays. Your start and end times for the work day will vary.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely for use of: removal of moldings, wipers, mirrors and windshields minimizing vehicle damage that could occur. Installs glass following industry specifications
  • Reviews daily auto glass itinerary and orders; ensures replacement glass has arrived in good condition from supplier; properly loads and transports glass to installation site
  • Maintains the highest quality and customer service satisfaction. Answers customers’ questions through educating and informing them on the installation process. Able to effectively troubleshoot customer concerns while never compromising the company’s core values: Service and Quality
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, including company issued vehicle
  • Communicates on a regular basis with owner regarding any changes in work status or completion status of vehicles
  • Achieves daily productivity goals set by owner
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Manages time effectively, dependable and trustworthy
  • Comfortable with lifting up to 100lbs, bending, reaching, walking and standing for long periods of time
  • 1 or more years of Auto Glass Installation/Removal Experience

 

Auto Glass Technician Trainee

Hourly Pay Range: $17-$20

Native Auto Glass is now hiring an Auto Glass Technician Trainee. We will provide you with a mentor who will teach you the skill sets to be responsible for all customer service interactions, windshield installs, chip repairs, and windshield removals at account locations, customers’ homes or their place of work.

Working outdoors also means you will need to be prepared to work in many different types of weather conditions throughout the year. Your primary focus will be to effectively learn how to provide excellent service while completing the highest quality glass installations & chip repairs.

You’ll work a full-time schedule and rotating Saturdays. Your start and end times for the work day will vary. Successful performance throughout your training period can result in an opportunity to become an Auto Glass Technician for Native Auto Glass.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely for use in the: removal of moldings, wipers, mirrors and windshields and other glass parts minimizing vehicle damage that could occur.
  • Listens actively and pays attention to detail resulting in the ability to learn how to:
  1.  Install Autoglass while following industry specifications.
  2. Review daily auto glass itinerary and orders; ensuring replacement glass has arrived in good condition from supplier;
  3. Properly load and transports glass to installation site
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building skills to properly:
  1. Maintain the highest quality and customer service satisfaction
  2. Answer customers’ questions through educating and informing them on the installation process
  3. Effectively troubleshoot customer concerns while never compromising the company’s core values: Service and Quality
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicates with Mentor on a regular basis regarding learning progress and additional tools/resources needed during training
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Manages time effectively, dependable and trustworthy
  • Comfortable with lifting up to 100lbs, bending, reaching, walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Although not required, mechanical aptitude and automotive repair experience is a plus.
